Are live ants included? Where can I buy the ants?

No, the ants don’t come with the ant farm. However, we would give you some suggestions of trustworthy sources. Details are included in our booklet in the package.

Are the ants for this any special variety?

We suggest ants over 1/4″ long like Camponotus harvester ants as they won’t eascape and dig great tunnels.

How long does it take before the ants make tunnels?

Some ants start tunneling immediately. Some take them couple of days. Each one is different, just like human! So please leave them in a quiet place and be patient.
